Copilot: the key tool in this update
At the heart of this update is Microsoft's Copilot.
This intelligent assistant is now integrated into several applications, enabling users to communicate with their CRM or ERP via natural language.
For example, it is now possible to request actions or information directly from the application, without having to navigate complex menus manually.
Outstanding new feature
Copilot can not only interpret queries based on natural language, but also generate automated responses based on the data available in the system.
This includes, for example, the creation of e-mails or documents based on information present in customer profiles or opportunities.
New Copilot dashboard
Another major new feature is the creation of a new dashboard dedicated to Copilot.
This dashboard provides a real-time overview of all information relevant to the user.
It combines data on current opportunities, tasks and communications, with suggested actions based on logical next steps.
Enhanced user experience in Sales
Full-screen experience
Microsoft enhances the user experience by introducing a full-screen mode for certain sales functions.
This view provides a clear and comprehensive picture of current opportunities.
Not only is information displayed in real time, it is also seamlessly integrated with other modules, facilitating decision-making.
Follow-up on e-mails and notifications
The system is now able to read and interpret e-mails automatically.
This means that an incoming e-mail can be linked to a specific opportunity or prospect in the system without manual intervention.
What's more, when an update occurs on an opportunity, a notification is generated to inform the user in real time.
Creating and managing opportunities with Copilot
A particularly innovative feature is the ability to create opportunities automatically from a set of e-mails or data available in the CRM.
Copilot can :
- Analyze e-mail exchanges
- Identify key information such as budget or service changes
- Automatically update opportunities based on this new data
This enables sales teams to remain focused on their high-value-added tasks, while letting Copilot automate repetitive processes.
Automatic document summary
Another highlight of wave 2 is the automatic document summary function.
When a document, such as a proposal or agreement, is added to the system, Copilot can produce an intelligent summary.
It extracts the most relevant information, such as budget, requirements and deadlines, speeding up decision-making processes.
Integration with Teams
The integration of Copilot into Microsoft Teams is a major step forward for collaborative users.
Copilot is now able to:
- Prepare meetings based on the latest customer interactions
- Link opportunities discussed in Teams with those in CRM
- List tasks to be completed before an upcoming meeting, ensuring better management of deadlines and priorities.
Grouping and managing opportunities
Opportunities can now be grouped by several criteria (customer base, closing date, etc.), making it easier to monitor sales pipelines.
This enhancement enables sales teams to better prioritize their efforts and visualize the most promising or urgent opportunities.
Improvements in prospect qualification
The lead qualification process has also been optimized for greater speed and flexibility.
Users can now customize the fields to be retained or deleted when qualifying a lead, offering greater control over the information to be processed.
Final thoughts
This update is clearly focused on intelligent automation and improved user experience. Copilot becomes an essential tool for facilitating the management of repetitive tasks and improving decision-making thanks to real-time data analysis.
For Dynamics 365 users, this wave 2 brings tangible improvements that optimize day-to-day work while enhancing collaboration and efficiency.
