Musées de la civilisation de Québec was chosen as a finalist for the OCTAS 2015 award in the category “Business Solution – Packages” for its “Personal Customer Relationship Management” project that uses the Pivotal CRM solution. The innovative project has three main goals: 1) Serve customers better and especially keep them satisfied, 2) Plan the revenue generation strategy better, 3) Lower resource allocation costs (human, equipment, space) and grow productivity.
The museum organization and Gestisoft worked together to implement the Pivotal CRM solution tailored to the needs of the museums. The project was the largest IT undertaking in the past ten years for the museum organization. Prior to its implementation, the functions below were supported by close to about 50 different databases and systems. Today, they have all been integrated into a single platform generating annual savings of over $240,000: • a database of 30,000 validated contacts and businesses. • management of interactions. • mass emailing and management of unsubscribes. • consent management (Bill C-28). • online profile management. • resource management (people, places, materials). • request management and mobilization of internal resources. • activity reservation. • guide and schedule management. • private event management. • subscriber management.
OCTAS awards have been organized since 1987 by the Réseau ACTION TI.
